Al-Sijzi’s letter to the people of Zabid in response to those who deny the letter and the sound .

This is one of this Imam’s great classified works in response to those who deny the letter and sound in the Words of Allāh Almighty . 

The importance of having proof for what one say: Hafidh as-Sijzi stated , thus it is imperative that every claimant to the Sunnah be requested (to provide) an authentic narration supporting what he says. If he brings it , then his trustworthiness is known & his statement is accepted.

However if he is not able to bring or provide a narration from the Salaf for what he says , then it  is known that he is a misguided  innovator, & he doesn’t deserve to be listened to or discussed with concerning his statement (page 100)
