This book is a summary of the work of Imam Ibn al-Jawzi Minhaaj al-Qaasideen which itself is a summary of the very famous book Ihiya Uloom ad-Din of Imam al-Ghazali. However it is very large and contains many blameworthy things,  Imām Ibn Qudaamah al-Maqdisī has therefore made a summary for believers wanting to get closer to Allah Subhna wa Ta A’la in  their worship.

Indeed, the book discusses of Fiqh, of Aqeedah, of Zuhd, but from the spiritual view, in the right way to accomplish his pious acts and how it closer to Allah. A book for the hearts of worshipers.
