Kitāb at-Tawḥīd by Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb is among the most foundational texts in ʿaqīdah, laying out the rights of Allāh upon His servants through direct evidence from the Qurʾān and authentic Sunnah across 66 chapters. It has been the subject of numerous shurūḥ (commentaries) by scholars across generations.

This particular sharḥ — al-Mūjaz al-Mumahhid — was authored by Shaykh Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā an-Najmī at the request of dedicated students of knowledge who were not satisfied with reading the older commentaries alone and asked him to dictate his own explanation. The result is a preparatory, accessible treatment of the matn that clarifies tawḥīd al-khāliq, its virtues, and what nullifies or diminishes it — from major shirk to minor shirk and bidʿah — making it well suited both for those newly approaching ʿaqīdah studies and for those revisiting the matn with a scholarly Salafī commentary.
